Use Colors
System Administrators and, to a lesser extent, Resource Administrators, can designate individual colors for displaying information about types of bookings, booking status, resources and clients. Both a foreground (text) color and a background color can be selected.
To make system-wide changes to the foreground and background colors pertaining to start and end dates and times, and booking types:
1. Select File>System Preferences.
2. Click the Status and Colors Tab.
3. Checking the Allow colors for clients, resources and routine bookings check box will allow you to associate a color combination for each client, resource and routine booking.
4. To allow users to establish different status levels for a booking and associate a color combination with the status level, check the Enable booking status box. You can set up to five status levels and color combinations. To select the color combinations, click the ... buttons for the foreground color and the background color. In each instance, a color palette will appear for selecting a color. Click the OK button. The Browse display will show how the colors will appear in normal browse windows. When booking status is the chosen colour source, the Scan display will show how the colors will appear in scan windows. Notice that the Scan colors are the reverse of Browse colors.
5. The default colors may be restored by clicking the Restore Default button.
6. Click the OK button.
