Scan Resource Group for Available Time Window

The Scan Resource Group for Available Time window blocks out all time slots in a selected week that are occupied by any resource in a resource group. Any time slots that are free for all resources in the resource become clearly visible. Time slots that are occupied by only one booking are blocked in blue; those occupied by two bookings are in yellow; and those with more than two are in red. To view or change any of the bookings, click the Browse button to call the Browse Bookings window.

If you click any of the blue (single) bookings, the Add/Update Booking window will appear for that booking so you can view the details or make changes.

Week Includes   A date in the week to be scanned. Enter the date or click the Calendar button to call a look-up calendar for selecting the date.

Begin/End  The start and end times of a regular work day.

Interval  Choosing a small time interval will allow you to see bookings for even short periods of time.

Width/Height  You may change the dimensions of the columns and rows.

Click the Go button to implement any changes made to the above data fields. A red Go button indicates that the window should be refreshed.

To add a new booking, click the Add button.

You may add a new booking simply by placing the cursor on a desired, empty time slot and then double clicking. The Add/Update Booking window will appear and the date and start time will be filled in. Confirm by clicking the OK button. Also notice that as you move the cursor across the bookings that the time is displayed above the cursor. New bookings cannot be inserted by clicking a time slot if you are accessing ResSched through the Web module.

To quickly scroll up and down the window, click above or below the slider button in the vertical scroll bar rather than using the arrow buttons or dragging the slider button. Scheduling Software home
