Duration, Set Default
Only System Administrators can create default durations that are system wide. However, all users except view-only users can add their own personal default durations to the list for their use (see information at bottom of this topic).
For a System Administrator to set system-wide defaults for Default Duration:
1. Select File>System Preferences. The Update System Preferences window appears.
2. Click the User Settings tab.
3. Click the Down Arrow button beside the Default Duration field. Click the desired duration from the drop-down list.
4. Click the Apply to Existing Users button to replace the default durations of all users with this one.
Other than view-only users, individual users may create their own personal default duration as follows:
1. Select File>User Preferences from the main menu. The Update User Preferences window will appear.
2. On the Default Entries tab, click the Down Arrow button beside the Default Duration field and select the desired booking from the drop-down list.
3. Click the OK button.
