Booking, Delete
If a booking is 'locked,' only System and Resource administrators or the user who created the booking can delete it.
For a new booking that you are creating, you may use the Delete button on the Add/Update Booking window if you wish to clear the window and start over.
To delete a single, existing booking:
1. Select Booking>Browse Bookings from the main menu. The Browse Bookings window will appear. Click one of the tabbed options for displaying the booking.
2. Highlight the booking you want to delete and click the Delete button.
3. You will be asked to confirm the deletion. Click Yes.
4. If this is a repeated booking, you will be asked if you wish to delete all instances of the booking, just the instance you originally highlighted, or the originally highlighted instance and all that instances of the booking that come after it.
Also, you may delete a booking from a Scan window by double clicking on the booking. The Add/Update Booking window will appear and you may then use the Delete button on that window.
System Administrators can delete all bookings before a specified date in the past.
1. Select Booking>Purge Old Bookings from the main menu. The Purge Old Bookings window will appear.
2. Enter the last date of the bookings to be deleted. This date must be before the current date.
3. Click the OK button.
4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
