ResSched BasicFeatures

	Handles Repeat Bookings Easily ResSched handles many types of repeat booking easily. It even lets you schedule bookings that occur irregularly. Save valuable staff time.
	Groups Resources for Easy Scheduling and Viewing Resources can be grouped together for easy scheduling and viewing. View the bookings of all the resources in a group in a single graphic schedule. Select resources from a group rather than the whole list of resources. Or add all the resources of a group to a booking with just a couple of clicks. A resource group can have any number of resources and a resource can be part of any number of groups, so you have complete flexibility. Some examples of groups would be: all rooms of a certain size, all the technicians with a specific skill, or all the equipment needed to do a particular task. Resources groups save a lot of time in scheduling and make it easier to manage utilization.
	View Schedules Based on Multiple Criteria on the Fly In addition to regular resource groups, ResSched also lets you create Meta groups as you need them. A meta group is a temporary resource group composed of the resources of other resource groups. You can choose whether the resources in the meta group must be in all of the source resource groups, or just in any one of them.
	Both Graphic and Text Schedule Output ResSched provides a wide variety of graphic schedule displays that lets you see 'at a glance' the schedules of individual resources, resource groups, or clients. Or use the text based schedules to get detailed booking information. Minimize confusion and time spend finding out what is booked when and respond quickly to customer scheduling requests.
	Availability and Conflict Checking ResSched does a complete check any new or changed bookings to ensure that it does not conflict with any bookings already made. Even before it does the conflict check, you can select from just those resources that are available at the specified time when making a booking. Avoid costly double bookings and reduce the time required to schedule.
	Unlimited View Only Users Option With the unlimited View only option, all staff can see what is booked when. Free your schedulers from endless questions about availability.
	Pooled Resources Unlike some other scheduling software, ResSched lets you schedule and do conflict checks on pooled resources. Pooled, or inventoried, resources are those resources that you manage as a pool, not as individual units, e.g., stacking chairs and folding tables. You don't want to schedule them individually, but you need to know that you haven't overbooked them.
	User and Resource Administration ResSched lets you control exactly which users or groups of users can book or view which resources. You can also limit some users to only making reservations subject to administrator confirmation
	Your Own Terms Use your organization's terms for resources, bookings, clients in ResSched windows and calendars.
	Default and Routine Entries If you usually make one type of booking, use one resource, have one client (or no client), you can make those entries default values that are entered automatically when you start a new booking. Or select from a list of routine bookings and durations that you have created. Save time and effort.
Corporate Edition Features In addition to the basic features above, the Corporate Edition provides several features that make it more suitable for larger origanizations with greater need for user access and integration with other business processes and systems.
	Wide area, VPN, Internet access The Corporate Edition provides faster access to ResSched data over local and wide area networks or the Internet.
	Post Schedules to Web Server Automatically With the Corporate Edition, you can post specified schedules to your web server at predefined intervals ranging from every minute to every day.
	No Limit on Update Access User License You can add as many update access users (those that can change information in ResSched) as you want to your license. At any time.
	Use ResSched Data in Other Programs The Corporate Edition comes with a read only ODBC driver that lets you pull ResSched data into other programs such as Excel, Crystal Reports, Access. Use your own analysis and reporting tools to produce the results you want. The ODBC driver is provided on the CD when you license the Corporate Edition.
	Import client and resource data from other programs If your client and resource data reside in other programs, the Corporate Edition provides a means of importing the data into ResSched on a one time or regular basis.
	Resource Utilization Analysis The Corporate Edition provides additional windows and reports to measure how a single resource or the resources of a group are utilized in selected period. Peak period and whole day analysis.
	Client Utilization and Invoicing Analyze utilization by client and issue invoices with the Corporate Edition.
	Use Microsoft Word to print text reports All the ResSched text calendars and rep orts can be printed using Word instead of the internal print function. You can edit the templates and tables to better reflect your organizations needs.
