added in recent releases. The features are grouped by the release
they were introduced in. This list does not include the many minor
features or improvements.

New calendar and
view options
Users can choose a new calendar that shows the week in columns by
day with bookings grouped by resource and listed chronologically.
Horizontal views and calendars can now cover a full quarter or year,
for those organizations with bookings covering several days or weeks.
Horizontal views are now available for clients as well as for resource
groups and projects. Separate schedules for each resource can now
be printed when you choose to print the schedule of a resource group
or project. Users can choose whether to include Inactive bookings
in text schedules.
New security options
System Administrators have more choices. They can choose to use
networked user id's with or without password to log in to ResSched.
Or they can choose to have ResSched save usernames between sessions
on each workstation. They can also choose to prohibit view only
users from changing a password.
Invoicing
Rate periods for quarter and half hour now available and more tax
and discount fields. (Corporate Edition only)
Administration improvements
System and resource administrators can: add a resource to a resource
group from either the resource or resource group window. Authorize
a user to view or book a resource from either the resource or user
window. Delete multiple clients at once.
Usability improvements
Users can delete bookings (if they have authority) from Scan (graphic)
schedule views as well as Browse (text) views.

Available resources for repeat bookings
When making a repeat booking you can select resources from a list
that contains just those resources available for all occurrences
of the booking.
Projects
You can now group your bookings in 'projects' (use your own term).
Manage those bookings as a group rather than individually. Great
for production or event scheduling
Horizontal time line schedules
New format for displaying the bookings of a resource group or project
for periods of a day, week or month. Similar to a GANTT chart, bookings
are laid out horizontally for each resource. Identifies all bookings
separately including those booked for the same time, and can be
printed.
Inactive resources, clients, and bookings
System and Resource Administrators can mark a resource or client
as inactive and users will not longer be able to book it. Any previous
scheduled bookings will still be displayed. A user can mark a booking
as inactive and it will not show up in utilization reports or in
the text schedules, but will show up in the graphic schedules (Scans).
Use along with status color and you have a great way of showing
when a resource is unavailable.
Client detail in text schedules
Users now have the option of including detailed client information
such as phone number and address in text schedules.
Printing in color
Users now have the option of printing graphic schedules in color.
Longer booking notes
Notes (free form text) for each booking can now be up to 2000 characters.
Cache resource and client data
System Administrator have the option of setting ResSched to cache
client and resource data on startup to improve performance. Booking
data is never cached.
Improved client and resource Locators
They are no longer case sensitive.
