Scan displays of bookings for clients and resource groups can be have a vertical (resources across the top, day/time down the left), calendar (standard monthly calendar) or horizontal (time line - resources down the left, day/time across the top) format. You can use either directly with the Scan menu. The buttons on the tool bar, however, use a default vertical or horizontal format.
To change the default format for a scan button:
