CONVERTING OLD DATA

Top  Previous  Next

If you are using a version of ResSched earlier than 9.0, you must convert your existing data files (resdata.tps, syslic3.tps, and users.tps  files) to use this release.   For Standard Edition and Local Corporate Edition installations, these files are located in the folder shown as the Start In property of your original ResSched shortcut.   For Wide Area Corporate Edition installations the data location was specified when ResSched was installed on your server,  C:\ClarionDataServer by default

1.Backup your resdata.tps, users.tps, and syslic3.tps files. VERY IMPORTANT!

For Wide Area Corporate Edition system administrators,

2.Run convold.exe from within your data folder and select the data folder as the location of the data files and the version you are converting from then click Convert.

For Standard Edition system administrators,

.
2.Run the new version of ResSched and when asked if you want to continue with the conversion, click Yes.

3.When the Convert Data window appears, enter the location of the data files you are converting and from which version you are converting. Then click Convert
