Change IP Address of Server

For Wide Area Corporate Edition users only.

 

The ResSched client program needs the IP address and port of the server to connect to your data files.  By default, users confirm the address and port each time on they log in.  However, a user can choose to skip this step.  If so, the user can change the IP address and port used to reach the server with the Change IP Address program installed in ResSched Wide Area program group.  You can also change the IP address manually by editing the HostName and Port entries of the [IPDriver] section of ResSched.ini file in the user's sub folder under Documents and Settings folder of the client workstation.
