How do I change the 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM workday hours shown in the schedules?

ResSched has a default workday of 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM for new installations.  You can change that as required.

All users except view only users, can change their workday beginning and end times through File>User Preferences>Scan settings.  System Administrators can set workday times for view only users, set initial workday time for new users, and reset the workday times for all existing users through System Settings>User settings>Scan display settings.

If you have 24 hour a day operations, set the beginning of the workday to 12:00 AM and the end of the workday to 11:59 PM to cover 24 hours in your graphic Scan schedules.
