How can I control which users are able to book, reserve, or view which resources? |

You can control which users can book or view which resources in either the user or the resource records. You can specify that a general user is able to book or view all resources, or specify a list of resources. At the resource level, you can specify all general users can book or view, or just a select list of users. The same applies to which resources a view only user can view. Resource administrators and System administrators can book and view any resource.
Reserve users are like general users, but any bookings they make are restricted to one status type. When you pick a status type for reserve users, initial bookings made by them will show colors associated with that status. Resource and System administrators can see at a glance which bookings are 'reserved', and confirm, change or delete them as required. Once an administrator has confirmed or changed the booking, the reserve user can no longer make changes to it, but they can delete it. You can also prohibit reserve users from seeing the details of any bookings other than their own.
